What are EV DC Charging Cables?

A DC charging cable in accordance with charging mode 4 has a vehicle charging connector and an open cable end. With DC fast charging, the charging power is typically very high which allows charging time to be reduced significantly. Volex DC Charging Cables connect directly to the charging station that houses an AC/DC converter. The AC line current is converted into DC current, which can be used to charge the battery of the electric car.
